Our Process

 

SESSION BOOKING

 

User friendly and convenient online self-booking.

 

PERSONAL CONSULTATION 

We kickstart our journey with a friendly phone call. During this chat, I’ll walk you through my process and take the time to answer any questions or concerns you may have. It’s the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other better.

 

STYLING & WARDROBE

This meeting takes place during our phone consultation. We’ll dive into the exciting details of planning your session, discussing styling, wardrobe choices, and any unique concepts you have in mind. This step is all about bringing your vision to life.

 

CAPTURE THE MAGIC

We’ll meet at the studio for a day of being, where I’ll use my expertise to capture the essence of the moment. This is where the magic happens, and we’ll create stunning memories together.

 

YOUR PERSONAL GALLERY

After the session, your proof gallery will be emailed. This is your chance to view your carefully curated gallery of images and decide on the keepsakes and artwork that will bring your photos to life.

 

CHERISHED DELIVERABLES

In the final step, I’ll ensure your selected products are beautifully crafted and ready for delivery. Your memories will be emailed and or carefully packaged and delivered to you, turning your vision into tangible, cherished keepsakes.

THINGS TO KNOW

1. Our turn-around time is 2-3 weeks. Please plan and schedule your session accordingly.

2. Expedited editing and delivery are available for an additional fee.

3. 50% deposit is due at booking. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

4. Remaining balance is due prior to your scheduled session.

5. Portrait Sessions includes digital images only, unless specified otherwise. 

6. Prints are sold separately.

7. For their safety, children are not permitted in the studio, unless being serviced. 

8. Balloons, glitter, and confetti are not permitted in the studio.

 

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULES

Arriving 15 minutes late or more to a session may result in cancellation or reschedule.

Sessions may be rescheduled as a one time courtesy, if there is at least a 48hr notice given to photographer. A new date must be provided to photographer within 7 business days, or a new booking and deposit will be required. Reschedules and cancellations given within 24 hours or less of your scheduled session, will result in a new deposit or refusal of future services. In the event, a second reschedule is requested, we will require a $100.00 rebooking fee. 

 

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

This means that once a deposit is made, it cannot be returned under any circumstances, nor can it be transferred to another person or session. This policy is in place to secure resources and allocate time specifically for your session.

 

We understand that unforeseen circumstances might arise, but kindly note that our policy remains consistent for all clients. We believe in maintaining fairness and consistency across the board.

 

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, we are more than happy to discuss them with you. Our goal is to provide exceptional service while being transparent about our terms.

 

When to Take Maternity Photos?

 

We recommend scheduling a maternity photo session within 28 to 36 weeks of your pregnancy. That’s as early as the seventh month, yet no later than the end of the eighth month of pregnancy. This period around the third trimester is the best time frame to show your round baby bump!

 

During the 28 to 36 weeks window, you will typically still feel fairly comfortable, so it’s less taxing for you to stand or pose when taking photos. It’s also late enough in the pregnancy for you to very clearly look pregnant, with a nice round belly to show off!

 

We encourage you to book in advance, to secure your preferred date.
