Scheduling a maternity photo session should be on every mommy-to-be's checklist. By having maternity photos taken, you're giving your child a glimpse of a world they'll never be able to see for themselves – the time their parents spent as a couple before they entered the picture.

A mommy and me session is a photo session that concentrates on the bond between a mama and her babies. (I use the term babies loosely here – even grown children are still our babies). As moms we are often the ones behind the camera, taking photos of our precious babies.

To be a woman is more than just flowery clothing, a long skirt, earrings and makeup, the ability to birth children. Being a woman means having a strong sense of identity, accepting your body as one that adapts and changes over time, being confident, and building up the people in your life.

A head shot or headshot is a modern portrait in which the focus is on the person. The term is applied usually for professional profile images on social media, images used on online dating profiles.
